You bet! At IPC, we follow the zero to hero philosophy. This means that even if you haven't had any pelvic floor training before, after taking the course you will be comfortable treating your male patients. In addition, our practical lab, which is included in the course will allow you to practice on real people, so when you see your first patient in the clinic you will already be comfortable.
No! At IPC, we know that pelvic floor treatments in women versus men is very different because if we consider the anatomical, physiological and psychological aspects, there are big differences. Of course, there are some commonalities, but it’s different enough that it warrants a specific training specialized in male pelvic health in order to be able to learn how to treat male patients successfully. A simple analogy is to compare baking a pie to baking a cake. Just because you can bake a pie doesn't mean you can bake a cake and vice versa, although both acts are related to baking.
Yes, during our last course in Chicago, several physios had over 10 years of pelvic health experience and some even completed their APTA residency in pelvic floor (the highest level of continuing education for pelvic health), and the Masterclass still transformed their practice. The reason the Masterclass transformed their practice is because the information taught in the course is unique and based on the latest evidence.

The course will be held at Viverant's clinic in Minnetonka. 12324 Wayzata Boulevard Minnetonka Minnesota 55305. Minnetonka is a suburb outside of Minneapolis off of 394 (it's also close to 494 and 169).
